"I'm Fine" is a self-portrait inspired by the performance of the same name, created in collaboration with Karena (Jie Ying) Kong. Both the painting and the performance explore the emotional tension of masking one’s true feelings to meet the expectations of others.

Through symbolic imagery, this work reveals the hidden layers of self-deception and emotional restraint. The foxglove flower, known for its associations with deceit and insincerity, serves as a central motif; highlighting the contrast between outward appearance and internal reality.
