This project explores the constant, protective presence of my grandmother, a kind of trinity that surrounds me, even from afar. Her gaze recurs throughout these works, sometimes fully rendered, sometimes fragmented. She appears three times in each piece, forming a ritual, a rhythm, a kind of quiet echo.

The prints are made using a more contemporary printmaking approach than I have previously done. I wanted to break open the traditional language of form and bring it into conversation with the personal and the modern. In the black print, her presence is complete, while in the red and blue prints, only her eyes remain, embedded within decorative patterns, as if to be relics.
